SASOLATE®NMMO is a kind of advanced tertiary amine oxide, which can be miscible with common organic solvents. It is used for wet spinning of regenerated cellulose fiber-Lyocell fiber.
Lyocell fiber (meaning soluble fiber) is known as the 21st century green fiber. It uses N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMMO) as a solvent and is used for wet spinning regenerated cellulose fiber. The waste can be degraded naturally, the amine oxide solvent in the production process can be recycled and reused 99.5%, the toxicity is very low, and it does not pollute the environment.
